Pointing Children in the direction that they should go

We are a Christian homeschool community serving the DFW area.

We believe that children should be nurtured rather than merely taught.

Our Mission

We endeavor to pour God’s love into Homeschool families while we provide an avenue for parents to equip their children and point them in the way they should go.

We provide classes, electives, and a community to grow with while we pursue that which glorifies God. We are about educating the next generation of Christian leaders.

Who We Are

About Us

At PACC we have integrated both the Classical Model of education and the Charlotte Mason Philosophy.

We currently meet in Roanoke, TX on Thursday’s with field trips, park meet-ups and community service projects. We are now enrolling children 4-15 years old (Pre-K-9th grade). We also have childcare available for siblings.

We provide classes, electives, and a community to grow with.

What We Offer

Engaging Academic Classes

We are proud to welcome students ranging from 4 to 15 years old (Pre-K-9th grade), providing them with an enriching and supportive environment where they can learn and grow. We believe that every child is unique, with their own God-given gifts and talents, and we make it a priority to nurture these individual abilities.

Enriching Electives & Handicrafts

Our elective and handicraft classes are our enrichment courses for our students. While academics are of high importance, we believe that learning life skills, new experiences and hands on activities truly grow the whole person and these make our program a well rounded addition for every family.

A Strong, Connected Community

Community is an essential part of PACC as we foster our students’ social skills, relationships and self awareness. We gather together weekly as likeminded families because we see community as one of the most important pieces of our children’s futures as they become leaders in their communities.

Meet the Director

Jessica Mashburn

Hi, I’m Jessica. I have the privilege and honor of being your Pointing Arrows Christian Community (PACC) Director.

I’m thankful that you will be embarking on our journey as we, together, take up the mantle of leadership and education in our homes and point our children in the direction that they should go.

I am originally from Chicago, born and raised. My family and I have been in Texas for a little over two years and claimed Texas as our home before we even crossed state lines!

My degree is in criminal justice. Shortly after my college graduation, I had a date to be commissioned into the United States Marine Corps as an officer. However, God had other plans and He redirected my path. One year later I was married to my best friend.

My husband Mark and I have been married for over 12 years and we have children ages 11, nine, and seven. Together, we have been homeschooling for seven years. Mark knew before I did that we were going to homeschool! I could not imagine our kids being educated any other way. We are blessed to have the opportunity to instill our values, core beliefs, culture and love for learning and community into our children.

  • What parents are saying...

“My daughter has a great time every time we meet up. She is excited for school! I also enjoy being able to be involved in her learning as well as having other moms she can learn different subjects from! “

    - Jocelyn Blair

  • What parents are saying...

“We are so excited to be a part of this amazing community. My kids have had a wonderful time getting to know their peers and teachers. We have really enjoyed the blending of a classical education with some charlotte mason influences. We have loved the handicrafts and elective options that are provided.”

    - Joelle Mobley

  • What parents are saying...

“PACC is a great place where you will feel sure about your child’s progress and what they teach is all purposeful.”

    -Thania Espinoza

  • What parents are saying...

“We are really enjoying PACCs! I am very impressed with the wide variety of offerings for my boys. They have gotten to dapple in art as well as sports, baking, and board games, and that is just in their electives! I love that they are being introduced to big ideas through narrations and the class discussions make everything feel as if things are tailored to their learning pace.”

    - Cari Hughes

Our Curriculum

What We Teach

At its heart, a Charlotte Mason education is the purest form of Classical education. The term “Charlotte Mason” refers to an educational philosophy, not necessarily a defined curriculum. We use Charlotte Mason an approach - it affects how we treat our students and how we go about laying out a “feast of learning”.

“Dedicate your children to God and point them in the way that they should go, and the values they’ve learned from you will be with them for life”.

Proverbs 22:6 TPT

Help your child grow and thrive.
